<p><span style="font-size: small; ">The E-Commerce Manager will be expected to apply advanced problem-solving techniques and coordinate with core team members to identify and implement innovative solutions supporting complex business logic. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; ">OVERVIEW:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; ">The E-Commerce Manager will work closely with internal and external constituents and be charged with executing projects against aggressive schedules. He/she will manage the project life cycles, from requirements definition to production implementation, with emphasis on design, development, testing, implementation and support. As the principle driver of these initiatives, this person will work across functional groups to coordinate efforts and ensure success. The E-Commerce solution will leverage functionality currently being developed for the US HD.com initiatives as well as utilizing SAP functionality as a foundation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; ">RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small; ">&bull; Manage development and execution of strategic store integration initiatives to ensure optimal connectivity between stores and the                e-commerce site.<br />
&bull; Manage a team in designing and developing a large-scale hardware and software web infrastructure to support E-commerce for the Canadian business group.<br />
&bull; Follow approved project guidelines and methodologies for designing, developing, and implementing system solutions.<br />
&bull; Lead E-Commerce initiatives throughout the project lifecycles including discovery and initial assessment, requirements definition, project design, development, implementation and support, as well as ongoing measurement and reporting. Develop supporting processes as needed.<br />
&bull; Responsible for project budget, goals, and schedules. Manage variances and communicates progress and issues to Executive Steering Committee.<br />
&bull; Coordinates all testing aspects of an E-Commerce initiative: unit testing, quality assurance testing, integration testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.<br />
&bull; Coordinate training and rollout plans for system initiatives related to E-Commerce.<br />

    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Apply for and manage all third party permits / consents, as applicable for the assigned project(s).&nbsp;</span></li>
    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Determine the necessary external resources for executing the projects using provided estimating templates.&nbsp;</span></li>
    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Transmit necessary deadlines in obtaining authorizations to the satisfaction of internal/external customers.&nbsp;</span></li>
    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Organize quotation requests, quotation analysis in terms of awarding construction contracts as applicable.&nbsp;</span></li>
    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Responsible for all negotiations with contractors of external services.&nbsp;</span></li>
    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Coordinate material, lines, antennas, hardware orders that must be delivered to contractors.&nbsp;</span></li>
    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Regularly visit the construction sites to ensure that not only that all of the work is being accomplished in parallel with safety legislation, but to direct the contractors in project problem solving to ensure deadline adherence.&nbsp;</span></li>
    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Review all constructed drawings for accuracy with appropriate staff prior to submission to GIS / Records.&nbsp;</span></li>
    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Review / Approve and or reconcile project specific contractor invoicing.&nbsp;</span></li>
    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Perform work in accordance with the provisions of the Canada Labour Code and Regulations and all corporate/departmental policies and procedures related to Occupational Health and Safety.&nbsp;</span></li>
    <li><span style="font-size: small; ">Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.&nbsp;</span></li>
